Maggie handles mass tort, commercial and bankruptcy matters. Maggie graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where she was a Lead Article Editor for the Journal of Energy, Climate, and the Environment; a finalist in Washington and Lee’s Mock Trial Competition; and mock trial administrator and member of the Moot Court Executive Board. Maggie clerked for the Honorable Joseph R. Goodwin, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of West Virginia, where she assisted on one of the largest mass tort cases in our nation’s history.

Since rejoining the firm after the completion of her clerkship, Maggie has brought her unique perspective from her time clerking to assist with the firm’s mass tort practice. Outside of her work in the mass tort group, Maggie represents debtors, banking institutions, and state entities in various Chapter 11 bankruptcies including, most recently, the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection in the Chapter 11 case of Mission Coal.
