Not guilty verdict for coal operator

Bailey Glasser obtained a full acquittal for a coal operator charged in a 23 count federal indictment. Our client was accused by the US government of participating in a tax fraud conspiracy involving more than $10 million, as well as engaging in prohibited currency transactions. The government also sought the forfeiture of more than $10 million from our client. The investigation spanned several years, resulting in felony convictions for 25 defendants.  After a nearly three-week jury trial, our client was found not guilty on all charges.
