Overview
Ciara Peacock is a member of the firm’s Commercial and Environmental Litigation Practice Group where she represents clients in complex litigation matters. The firm's Commercial & Environmental lawyers represent the full spectrum of business interests and industries. From solo entrepreneurs to multinational corporations, coal miners to energy companies, the team handles high-stakes litigation nationwide in state and federal courts and arbitration tribunals.
Ciara graduated from West Virginia University College of Law in 2024 as a member of the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers. Ciara served as a Senior Editor of the West Virginia Law Review and was a member of the WVU National Moot Court Team. She was also the President of the Environmental Law Society and Secretary of the Energy Law Society. Ciara gained practical law experience as a student clinician with the WVU College of Law Land Use and Sustainable Development Clinic, providing legal and planning services to government and non-profit organizations. Ciara continued her work in the Land Use Clinic after law school, focusing on conservation easements as a Fellow.
Ciara’s commitment to the environment is professional as well as personal. It includes working as a member of the Utah Conservation Corp, with the West Virginia ski industry, and working at a large organic farm in Austin, Texas. While in Austin, Ciara also worked in its dynamic film and television industry.
