Overview
Panida Anderson practices consumer protection, class action, and employment litigation with a particular focus on representing consumers in class actions under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Prior to joining Bailey Glasser, Panida represented clients in securities, commercial, and data breach litigation, amongst other civil practice litigation areas. She is also a skilled ethics attorney, having represented attorneys charged with disciplinary misconduct and clients with legal malpractice claims, and also practiced criminal law in state and federal courts in multiple states. Having represented clients on both the plaintiff and defense sides, Panida brings a breadth of experience and a strong tenacity in fighting for the rights of consumers she represents.
Panida is the immediate past President of the national Thai American Bar Association (TABA), comprised of practicing attorneys at small and large law firms, corporate in-house counsel, government and non-profit attorneys, law students, and other members of the legal profession. TABA facilitates the professional development of its members, increases access to legal services for the greater Thai community, and fosters relationships with other legal organizations and the legal community.
While in law school, Panida was a member of the Georgetown Criminal Defense & Prisoner Advocacy Clinic. She was also an intern for D.C. Superior Court Judge Gerald I. Fisher, the Maryland Office of the Public Defender in Rockville, MD, and the Alaska Public Defender Agency. After graduation, Panida worked as a law clerk for Alaska Court of Appeals Judge Tracey B. Wollenberg and Judge John Suddock, pro tempore.
Panida is fluent in Thai and proficient in Japanese. She is admitted to practice in New York, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Alaska.
