Overview
Luke Thomas is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group in Morgantown, West Virginia and manages a range of corporate transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, banking and finance, commercial loans, commercial contracts, private equity, construction contracts and disputes, dealer agreements and disputes, land use and zoning, payment and performance bonds, and health care contracts among others. He routinely negotiates and drafts multimillion-dollar transactions and has extensive experience leading high-volume transactions.
Luke has over 15 years of private practice experience handling both transactional and litigation disputes. He has represented a wide variety of clients in numerous industries throughout his career from international manufacturing companies, banks and private equity funds, government contractors, health care companies, real estate developers, commercial and residential landlords, natural resources and energy companies, to high-net-worth family-owned businesses, trucking companies, software developers, and everything in between.
Before joining Bailey Glasser, Luke was the Associate General Counsel of a publicly traded, international heavy equipment manufacturer that produces material and infrastructure solutions and has 40 subsidiaries and 17 locations globally.
Luke lives with his wife and their four dogs in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
