Partner Luke Thomas Joins Bailey Glasser Corporate Practice Group
Bailey & Glasser, LLP is pleased to announce that Luke Thomas has joined the firm’s Morgantown, West Virginia office as a partner in its Corporate Practice Group. Luke has over 15 years of private practice experience handling both transactional and litigation matters and joins Bailey Glasser after serving as an Associate General Counsel at ASTEC Industries, a publicly traded, international heavy equipment manufacturer.

The Corporate team routinely handles transactions ranging in size from $1 million to more than $1 billion for public and private companies, closely held family businesses, financial institutions, and individuals in energy, industrial manufacturing, real estate, forestry, automotive, healthcare, technology, cannabis, communications, and other regulated industries.
As a member of the corporate group, Luke will provide strategic guidance, counseling, and innovative solutions for our clients across a full spectrum of business interests and industries. Luke brings experience managing a range of corporate transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, banking and finance, commercial loans, commercial contracts, private equity, construction contracts and disputes, dealer agreements and disputes, land use and zoning, payment and performance bonds, and health care contracts, among others.
Luke is a life-long West Virginian, receiving his Juris Doctor from West Virginia College of Law, and also obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from WVU. He lives with his wife and four dogs in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
